Santiago, July 2019.- In its constant search to grow, innovate and differentiate itself from the market, FORUS, which designs, markets and distributes proprietary and international brands of footwear, apparel and accessories, has announced the incorporation of the North American brand Vans to the company’s brand portfolio.
Always focused on the customer, FORUS continues to increase its market share in the youth segment by welcoming Vans, the iconic brand of art, music, street culture and action sports.
In Chile, Vans currently has a strong wholesale business and operates five standalone stores throughout the country. Prior to the distribution agreement with Forus, the Vans brand, which was founded in 1966 in Anaheim, California, was operated in Chile directly by VF Corp. Forus plans to open 20 new Vans stores by 2022. In addition, Forus will also continue to strengthen the brand by selling its products at Forus’ multi-brand stores, including 7veinte -which has 14 stores throughout the country-, as well as at Funsport and DHouse, which together have 48 stores nationwide. Forus will continue to promote the Vans wholesale and specialized customers business, which are important priorities, and will continue to grow the digital business.

With this operation, which will begin on August 1st, FORUS strengthens its portfolio of brands sold online, reaching a total of 30 e-commerce sites to date, with 100% year-over-year sales growth.
